On September 5-6 we held our inaugural Idaho Saddlemaker’s Summit in Salmon, Idaho. The concept was to get together saddlemakers from the state into one location for the opportunity to get to know each other, learn, and discuss the industry and how we can work together to help promote and preserve the craft that we all care about to much. Our special guests were Karron and Dale Harwood and Shep Hermann of Hermann Oak leather. Special recognition goes to Steven Hatcher of the Idaho Council on the Arts and to Caroline Stivers of the Salmon Arts Council for all their support and hard work to make this happen.
