This custom order was a lot of fun to build. Julie wanted something very lightweight with design elements to honor two very important people in her life….her mother and her husband. Her husband’s name means “deer” in German and her mother was of Norwegian descent so she wanted elements of rosemaling in the carving. The tree is a 3B with an old timer horn. The cantle is 5″ x 12″ and finished seat length is 15.25″. Dusty Smith of WYO Saddle trees produced the tree. The finished weight of this saddle is 31.5 lbs.
