I met Linda and Mark at the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering in Elko, NV, last January. Linda needed a saddle built for her mule as he was very wide across his back and she could find nothing to fit him well. Working with Dusty Smith we came up with some specs for a tree that would address this guy and here is the resulting saddle. Linda chose a Will James style tree with a 14″ swell.
