Roses in Avon

Mariah wanted a light weight saddle with some special features that expressed her gratitude toward riding and her horse. She designed the horn cap and I simply expressed it in leather for her. She wanted something to remind her to always intend to work and interact with her horses “with love”. This saddle was constructed on a Dusty Smith (WYO Saddle Trees) tree. The tree is a Wade with 4 1/4″ x 93 degree bars and a 4 1/2″ x 12″ cantle. The saddle has no rear jockeys, an inskirt rigging, and contrasting black leather for a horn binding, cantle binding, inlaid seat, and billets. The finished weight on this saddle was 28 lbs. Thanks Mariah for letting me develop this project with you.
