Though I don’t do many trade shows, I always enjoy them. Meeting people and having the chance to show them my work and to talk about that work is enjoyable as well as educational. While in Ellensburg, WA, last month for the Spirit of the West Cowboy Gathering, I met a lot of nice people and heard a lot of great stories from some men and women who have spent a lot of time on horseback in their lifetimes. I always learn from these people. They have a perspective that one can only gain from spending many days in lots of different conditions doing a job from the back of a horse. Hopefully I can translate what I have learned into making a better saddle. Here is a video taken from the back of my booth this year.
